FAQ

What should I do to prepare for the conference(s)?
Ensure you have registered! Pre-registration is required whether you choose to attend in person (so we have adequate materials to share with you) or virtually (so you can receive a link to the conference). Familiarize yourself with the agenda for the day.

Do I preregister for the sessions I wish to attend?
No, you do not register in advance for the sessions. Sessions will be presented in Room 1 and Room 2, and you can move between the two rooms during breaks.

Are nursing contact hours available?
Those who attend in person may receive up to 3 “contact hours.” Certificates will be included in your program. Those who view virtually will not receive any hours.

Transitions LifeCare is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

I want to attend in person. What safety protocols will be in place?
We want you to attend in person, too! We know there’s so much value in being able to meet our exhibitors in person, and to network with other caregivers. NC State has installed MERV 13 filters in the air handlers throughout the McKimmon Center. These filters are recommended by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and are somewhat more effective at capturing smaller airborne particles. Room 1’s ceiling is 28’ tall, and Room 2’s ceiling is 24’ tall.

I just cannot attend that day; how will I receive access to the virtual sessions?
You must register. Prior to September 15, we will email you appropriate links. No contact hours are available if you don’t attend in person.

Will there be an on-demand recording of the conference?
Yes! Those who register can find links 48 hours after the event.
